Lean Six Sigma Training

Lean-Six-Sigma-trainingRob Bryant is a PhD and Lean/Six Sigma Master Blackbelt and has taught over 200 Green & Blackbelt level classes in over 25 countries & 6 continents. This resulted in over $250 Million of savings and/or increased revenue.  The events/classes below are for organizations interested in reducing costs & defects while increasing revenue & customer satisfaction. I promise results!!

Lean Events – I lead Lean Events where your selected team and I reduce costs, FTE’s wastes, defects, loops, approvals, steps while improving the quality the output of the process.
Greenbelt Classes – 30 hours of intense classes, where attendees learn the tools, then apply them to their own process. They not only become Greenbelts but improve processes as well. Greenbelt certification is given after completion of the course, AND the process is improved and validated by management, usually in a 3-6 month period.
Blackbelt Classes – 90 hours of classes where attendees learn the tools, then apply them to their own process in between classes. They not only become Blackbelts but improve processes as well. Blackbelt certification is given after completion of the course, AND the process is improved and validated by management usually in a 6 month period.
Executive Whitebelt Training – A four hour virtual or in-person training session, explaining the use of Lean/Six Sigma tools. The session also explains how to implement and lead a viable/valuable Lean/Six Sigma Program.

Greenbelt Class Tools Learned:

  • Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, Implement, Control (DMAIIC)
  • Mistake Proofing
  • Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA)
  • Quality Functional Deployment (QFD) (also called “House of Quality”)
  • Root Cause/Risk Analysis
  • Problem Solving
  • Statistical Process Control (SPC)
  • Process Mapping/Management
  • Performance Metrics
  • Trend Analysis
  • Process Improvement
  • Variation Measurement
  • Process Capability Analysis
  • Lean Thinking

Blackbelt Class Tools Learned:

  • Advanced SPC, Control Charts
  • Design of Experiments
  • Analysis of Variation (ANOVA)
  • Test of Significance (Hypothesis Testing) — z Test, t Test, Student t Test, Paired t Test, and F test
  • Additional DOE Considerations (Test Strategies, Latin Square Designs), Chi Square
  • Correlation, Linear, Multiple, and Logical Regression Measurement Systems Analysis (MSA)
  • Reliability/Survival, Multivariate Analysis
  • Time Series, Nonparametrics, Power, and Sample Size
  • Advanced Lean Tools
  • Value Stream Mapping

The difference between Lean & Six Sigma: Lean is an initiative to reduce time, steps, processes, loops, cycles, documentation, approvals, material, FTE’s, etc. Lean applies the least amount of Six Sigma tools as possible to accomplish the task as well as tools such as Value Stream Mapping. Lean is a part of Six Sigma and can be utilized alone or as part of a Six Sigma project. Lean Events are fast improvement events of one key process.  Six Sigma is a methodology to reduce variation, defects and its associated costs, rework, etc. Six Sigma contains many tools and is to be used when the problem and/or solution is not apparent. Six Sigma’s main components are: DMAIC, DMADV, DFSS and Lean.

Lean/Six Sigma Events/Class Costs
All training, classes, consulting and events are virtual so there’s NO travel costs. They can be set up a few hours/day or week to meet your requirements. In person is also an option when client pays travel expenses.
Costs are as follows:

  • Green Belt Class and Certifications – $1,000/certification or an entire class for $10,000 (up to 30 students)
  • Black Belt Class and Certifications – $1,500/certification or an entire class for $15,000 (up to 25 students)
  • Lean Events – $5,000 (three 6 hour days, six 3 hour days, or nine 2 hour days).
